We appreciate that this pub always was (and will continue to be) at the heart of village life. It is a meeting place for all the different strands of the community. We want to provide a relaxed and flexible venue that can be used in a wide range of roles.

We actively raise money for our local Primary School and the adjoining open air swimming pool. Cheques for £425 were presented to each in January this year.

Drinkers are welcome at all times. Since opening we have hosted special community evenings, live jazz afternoons and charity money raising events with the Exeter Chiefs. All the proceeds from the raffle and prize draw that helped to mark our first birthday celebrations in August went to local charities.
