Rescued & lovingly restored in 2013, new life has been breathed into this 16th century thatched Devon Inn. With experienced operators Gary & Graciela now at the helm the focus is on good food and cheerful, professional hospitality delivered with a smile.
The integrity of our suppliers goes without saying and the depth of choice has been designed to fit all requirements, times of day and appetites. From pub classics like homemade Scotch eggs, duck liver parfait, beer battered fish and chips to sticky toffee pudding and dark chocolate mousse, the food is hearty, wholesome and honest.
Wines are from Christopher Piper, there are three local ales to enjoy, various bottled ciders and soft drinks from Luscombe. Dogs, children and cyclists are all welcome. Around the pub is a trail of walks well worth exploring.
